Things I'm starting to dislike about Boulder and Colorado....maybe the United States? Also a running list

Somehow we're still racist Also there was a really terrible shooting at my grocery store in 2021 and there are even more now all over the country but we have to keep our freedom or whatever. I think the US still hates women. They don't let women take charge of their bodies and unwanted pregnancies that could maybe kill them. They also don't like children who are already alive since they won't stop them from being shot to death in schools.  Boulder tries to come off as super woke but they definitely dislike poor people. They are always voting down cheap housing.  Even shitty houses are a million dollars so millennials with only upper-middle-class incomes are basically doomed.  Moving every single year from rental to rental.  It's above 90 degrees ALOT in the summer There's always traffic going into the mountains on the weekends. Trails are crowded.  People on trails always wear really expensive hiking gear and go to expensive fitness classes and yet can't be ...

Things I love about Boulder...a running list

  There's always someone showing you the resiliency of a human body. Rain or shine, there's someone being active outside of my window. It's a city of try-hards but it shows you to never give up on yourself.  The Bookworm.   Those burner people and old hippies who deck out their bikes on Thursdays. The rollerbladeability of Boulder Creek Path. I love grabbing a drink at Kettle and Spoke after a sketchy traverse through the parking lot.  The Parkway Cafe. The Saturday specials are genius.   Mountain biking at sunset  How the Southern Sun is unchanged after 12 years.  Being able to bike most places.  Sanitas Brewing's patio and Train Beer.   Full Throttle Yoga at Sanitas on a Sunday The Outback Saloon  The Korea House Early morning trail runs, especially when the trailhead is super close to my house!
